High Flying Green Tops

Dreamlog: December 14, 2024

A voice was inviting me to a conference of some of the top computer programmers in the world. It seemed strainingly uninteresting to me, and so I decided instead to fly up and see how high I could fly and test the limits of the dream world.

I hit F11 and switched to full screen so I could have a more immersive view of the dream.

I kept my fingers on the keyboard and cut up through the forest and into the deep jungle. I went up and found my treehouse clubhouse where I like to have a smoke and appreciate the forest canopy and the view.

Rather than stopping at my treehouse, I kept flying upwards, upwards, cutting up past a road and higher in altitude. I heard the voice say, “This is the highest altitude country in the world, in Africa.”

The greenery is lush. There were tons of trees and patches of forests dispersed between large, escaping hillsides of meadows and patches of forest with animals grazing.

Up and up and up, I wanted to see if I could get to the very top of the top mountain of the highest country in Africa. It was surprisingly lush and green and beautiful, with a lot of diversity in the forests and hilly grass plains.

Up, and up, and up, I explored through the canopies and the treetops, snaking my way upwards, sensing the highest point and moving toward it. I kept my fingers on the keyboard that were controlling my movement, yet it was a fully immersive 360 experience.

Up and up and up, I kept exploring the forests, appreciating the relationship between the roots, the underbrush, the bark of the trees, and seeing how they reach up into the sky. I followed them upwards.

The environment looked like it was simulated in Unreal Engine at a very high resolution, and I wondered what the real forest looks like.

I started getting quite high. It was a gradual, increasingly steep, gentle incline that kept going higher, and at the top there was a patch with a very tall tree near the top. I flew upwards to the top of the mountain and up past the top of the tallest tree and then just kept going straight up from there, directly up. I wanted to see how high of a view I could get.

The Earth started to look far below me, and I could get a comprehensive view of the landscape, seeing it stretch on in all directions with beautiful green lush greenery and patches of mountain forest.

Then I felt like flying, so I jumped off of the invisible elevator I was on, let go of the keyboard, and started diving down at a high speed. The flying became skydiving, and I used my body to cut through the wind to move across the landscape. I selected an area where I wanted to go and then started to move in that direction.

I was enjoying the beautiful views and escaping vistas and flying in broad circles toward my destination. Soaring like an eagle, I directed myself higher and higher with the power of my mind and then again diving down, enjoying the exhilarating rush of a high flyer.

After some time of this, I was getting closer to my destination, and I started thinking of a prompt and thinking of what programming language I could create a particle system with. I formulated the willpower to create a particle system of golden glowing orbs. Initially, I thought Python might be a good choice of programming language, but then I realized Python doesn’t run on the web client.

I landed, and as I landed, I threw out the prompt to the AI that would generate a golden glowing orbs particle system. The prompt spread out over the field like text overlay blanketing the grass down the incline. I saw the AI start formulating the code for the particle system in a floating window. I felt it was going to be good.

Then I realized I was hungry, so I started collecting salad and half-decomposed maple leaves and putting them in a blue bin to create a salad. Because the half-decomposed maple leaves looked kind of slimy and weird, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to eat them, but I remembered that it was a new style these days to eat from nature, and half-decomposed maple leaves were some kind of delicacy. I was recalling how you have to rinse them and clean them and create a sauce to enjoy eating them.

That was it. Before I could get back to my golden orb particle system, I woke up.
