Mermaid Room and Artist Connection

I was organizing some kind of mermaid-themed room. But I wanted to do more. I spoke dreamily, gesturing widely, as I imagined what else I would do if I could. Mermaids painted on the walls, bubbles hanging from the ceiling. I think my mom was there and seemed surprised by my passion, but I'm not sure why. IRL, I just showed her a piece I did for Mermay. She knows I'm a passionate artist. Additionally, in the dream, this part is hard to explain, but I think I was living in the same house as an artist I follow on Instagram? (Not a real person, a hypothetical one. I do follow artists on Insta IRL, although my account is private, and I don't share my own art there.) Sometimes I wish to be more involved. I guess I was watching something she(?) posted, and it was loud, so I suddenly realized she would hear it and know. She poked her head out the door and complimented me about something? (I don't remember what). And I complimented her art. I think that was it. I know other unrelated stuff happened, but that's what I recall most clearly.
