Voices Lost, Choices Unclear

Last night's dream felt full of recurring themes. Some make sense to me, but others have me at a loss.

•I was with one of my cousins, just walking with her. But I was having trouble speaking. My voice kept coming out strained, barely a whisper. (My cousins have been a recurring theme in my dreams for a while. For IRL context, we have a good relationship but aren't necessarily close all the time. Recently, it feels like they're drifting away. I miss them, but I'm not sure how to reach out, or if I will even be very good at it. So, this dream seems painfully literal to me. It's also not the first time I've dreamt of struggling to speak. Occasionally, I have woken up trying to say something).

•Movie theater (I've been dreaming of movie theaters and/or auditoriums a lot lately. I have no idea what it means).

•Disneyland, sort of but not really? (Also occasionally recurring. I have many good memories of Disneyland, but strangely, in my dreams, it's nothing like IRL at all— I wouldn't really even call it Disneyland, but that's how my dream self thinks of it— and it's usually a tense and confusing experience).

•A dangerous gameshow and dramatic decision (This part is hard to recall the details of. I'll try to keep it simple, but idk, it probably doesn't make much sense. So, there's a group of people, including me, in... I guess I can only describe it as a gameshow with dangerous stakes? Yet there was a sort of detachment, like watching a fictional tv show, even though I was technically participating in the events. Anyway, we're all on the same team, but there's some contention between us since we don't all agree on what choices to make. One person, who is new to the situation, is elected be in a position where he gets to make a choice to decide our fates. I feel this is a bad idea, not because I have anything against him but because I fear it's too much for him, and he seems to have reservations about our plan. I think it was because... there was something that he felt a deep moral obligation to speak up against, but he knew it would also hurt someone else in the process. I end up being right, as he completely panics and abandons both options, choosing a total wildcard instead).
