My concerns about religion

"Questioning islam is not a bad thing, its a good thing, it means you want to learn more about Islam which will actually just make your bond stronger with God"

But why does everyone make it seem like asking questions is such a bad thing?
Their responses are always: "weak faith," "so… you’re a liberal, huh?" or "don’t ask, just do it."

I was raised in a religious family, went to an Islamic school, and grew up in a society where Islam is the majority. I like the tradition, the culture, the history, and everything around it — but not the people sometimes. Especially when overly religious and judgmental people show up. That’s the part I hate. They always mocked me instead of helping me understand when I was confused about my faith
