Tala Sage DREAM I'm going to share the second part of the dream first because it was deeply beautiful. I was with a group of about 30 or 40 people and we were out at this incredible retreat center created by an elder in the Mexico community named Arturo. This is a different person than the Arturo that I knew in Mexico but it might be overlapping because Arturo, who was also a community leader, was the main person I knew in Mexico City before I moved there and I ended up living in his apartment.
In the dream this Arturo was older, in his 50s, well off, and enjoyed holding spaces for younger people to come and gather, hang out, express themselves, and do their art and their ceremonies. Earlier in the dream we were at his place in the city but in the second part we were at his piece of land that he had rehabilitated into a lush green verdant beautiful oasis with years of permaculture and building back the ecosystem. It had a nice big gathering space room that had barely any furniture. It was mainly just an open space with a really comfy soft carpet, a lot of pillows, and an altar.
There was a group of about 40 of us and we were all hanging out and connecting. He had me facilitating the circle for people to share their gifts, ceremonies, and ritual. It was dimly lit by candlelight. Just after sunset into the evening there were going to be a lot of different songs and offerings and then I was going to do a DJ set at the end.
I got woken up about a little way into the circle by the dog barking here where I'm pet-sitting at the moment in Portland but the mood in the dream was serene and lovely. Also the timing around what's happening in my life is really beautiful because I'm on the 4th day of sending out the email sequence for my curry just becoming offering. I'm really in the zone, just working on that and that offering. It is the same one that I talked about in one of my past streams around the threshold, rites of passage, and ritual work for high-achieving creatives, coaches, and entrepreneurs. The stream felt meaningful in that way.
Earlier in the dream we were in Mexico City at his place there and he was letting various members of the group stay with him. He had just been renovating some of it and we were looking at the different parts of it. I was connecting romantically with someone who was with a woman who was staying there and it was really, really beautiful and felt really good.
