🌊🪽 Another Tsunami Dream

I was standing on top of this dilapidated Asian hose, it look like it used to be very beautiful and well structured and time had passed enough to rot structure from the inside. When I stepped on parts of the roof it collapsed inwards.

I looked out beyond the courtyard surrounding the building and saw water like waves on the beach starting to rapidly flow inwards into the courtyard and as the waves touched the base of the house it began to dissolve and collapse the structure.

The oncoming waves of water kept building and building and building, until I realized that I needed to get ahead of it.

I ran into this larger open aired building that was like some kind of urban mall with a metallic super-structure and a river running through it that felt like a public pool.

At the base of the spiral staircase I found this GT snow racer bike-sled thing and mounted it, inspecting the water-skis at the base of the bike.

I balanced on the edge of the staircase, anticipating for the wave to come and push me up the spiral.

I practiced gripping onto the sled and getting comfortable with it. I imagined preparing for the wave to race in all the sudden so I could ride on the edge of the wave.

There was about five or six others around me who are also had similar snow sleds and were prepared to ride them up the spiral.

Once I was prepared, I looked around and noticed that most people weren’t ready for it they all look confused and were beginning to panic as they noticed a massive wave was incoming.

Massive Waves of turbulent water rushed into the open structure as most of the people got washed away into the undercurrent. It was chaotic seeing people trying to save their loved ones and then themselves getting crushed by the maelstrom of water crushing their bodies and pulling them deep beneath the surface.

As the wild watery beast of The Wave came rushing upon me with incredible force, the turbulent water from under my feet and skiis pushed the snow racer forward, shooting up along the spiral staircase.

By focusing intently I was able to ride the sled on the edge of this wave upwards the spiral staircase. Maintaining balance with all of my effort, I rode it out by carefully directing my movement.

I looked down from this top of this staircase and the wave was destroying everything. I looked down through a crack in the building and saw powerful outflows of water bending and crushing the metal beams with it’s speed and power, crushing everything within it’s grasp. At that moment I could tell the entire structure was about to collapse.

As the entire structure beneath me began to implode, I had to jump off the edge of the roof and fly like a bird to get away from it. By jumping off the edge and flying over the rooftops, I narrowly prevented it from pulling me down into the massive undercurrent that was destroying the entire city beneath me.

As I flew over the city, I was feeling so grateful that I had the ability to fly like a bird. I looked down at the water flowing through this big industrial city and the violence of the water was so powerful, it was breathtaking to see nature smashing and destroying these tiny human buildings that used to seem so large.

At that point I realized almost everyone has been wiped out by this wave and they won’t be many people left on the planet. The power of the water, speed of the water, like a maelstrom crushing everything with weight and pressure, was washing everything away… I just kept on flying and holding on since there was no place to land.

I felt lucky that I just barely got away from it and there I began to gradually awaken and I found myself in bed, recalling the dream.

    1. **The Massive Wave**: Water, especially in the form of a massive wave, is a potent symbol in dreams. In Jungian terms, water is often associated with the unconscious and its contents. A massive wave can symbolize overwhelming emotions or unconscious forces coming to the surface, potentially leading to a period of significant psychological transformation.

    2. **Ancient Asian Style House**: The destruction of an ancient structure can symbolize the dismantling of old beliefs, traditions, or aspects of the self that are no longer serving your personal growth. The specific mention of an “Asian style house” might suggest a connection to ancient wisdom or traditional ways of thinking that are being challenged or washed away by new insights or emotional upheavals.

    3. **Bicycle-like Sled and Spiral Staircase**: The use of a unique vehicle to navigate the wave suggests an inventive or unconventional approach to dealing with the challenges represented by the wave. The spiral staircase can symbolize a journey toward higher understanding or consciousness, indicating progress despite the chaotic circumstances.

    4. **People Not Ready for the Wave**: This element could reflect your perceptions of how you and others around you are coping with significant changes or emotional challenges. It might indicate a feeling of being somewhat prepared or adaptable in situations where others are overwhelmed.

    5. **Destruction and Violence of Nature**: The destructive power of the wave in the dream, especially as it flows through an industrial building, could symbolize the force of unconscious contents or emotions breaking through the constructs of the ego or conscious mind. It highlights the tension between the natural, instinctual aspects of the psyche and the constructed, industrial aspects of society or the individual personality.

    6. **Flying Like a Bird**: This ability to fly away from the danger of the wave suggests an aspect of transcendence or elevation above the turmoil. In Jungian terms, this could represent the ability to rise above the flood of unconscious contents through a higher perspective or consciousness.
