VR researcher in Dreamtime

In my dream, I was a VR researcher, and the plot took place inside the VR experience and outside of it in some hyper dimensional space.

Inside the headset, there was some kind of apocalypse happening, and reality within the gamespace was starting to break down.

There were lots of meta characters within the game, with different dynamics and appearances from themselves outside the headset. It felt like we were making first adjustments after a beta release? I can’t be sure.

There was a well to do entrepreneurial couple who were doing Hawaiian retreats or something, but they were also falling for some kind of ego trap and being snooty.

There were also sincere folks, a Dutch family inside the gameplay, a group of children receiving a gift from their grandfather in a gift exchange in a wholesome harmonic moment.. when their drunk uncle started mocking them during the gift exchange. I feel like that represented familial karma and truama.

There were little easter eggs 🥚 to aquire in the game to reveal its meta nature and uncover the ultimate revelations of the synchronous karmic dynamics. Those details felt very special and precious. One was a tiny pair of dangling pearl earrings that appeared when you recited a romantic poem in a special spatial place.

The pearls were metaphors for wisdom.

I recall being outside the headset trying to explain the game design of this part, it reminded me of my work in real life designing escape rooms.

There was an interesting quality to the romantic side plot of the game. It was 2 players, but it could be played by 2 different characters at different points in the game. Unfortunately, the researchers and some of their meta narrative characters within the game didn’t realize that romantic duality, was really two complimentary aspects that is really the divine one, so it’s not personalized or egoic. But that trap of duality, if not realized in the unity consciousness, could lead to attachment and not maintaining enlightenment.

My very smart philosophical friend was there, and we chatted for a long time and had great conversations about the game and research. I think he may have been one of the fellow researchers!
